With TripLog for Accountants feature, your accountant or bookkeeper will have access to your reports from their dashboard, and are able to upload mileage data to Xero on your behalf.
TripLog + Xero
Unlike other mileage apps that only upload mileage as files or reports, TripLog uploads your mileage data to actual Xero Bills or Invoices. You can link Xero Contacts, Tax Rates, Expense Accounts, or Revenue Accounts to TripLog.
TripLog will upload the mileage data to Xero as Bills or expenses to reimburse your employees or even raise Invoices to bill your customers.
TripLog also works for Canadian, UK, and Australian customers, where kilometres, tiered tax rates and fiscal year starting in April or July are applied in those countries.
Getting started
To get started, you will need to log in to TripLog web dashboard, go to Connect menu option on the top menu bar, choose Xero Bills or Invoices. Then Connect to Xero for the first time, set up account links between Xero and TripLog. Now you are ready to search for the mileage data and upload to Xero.
