Unusable

It's been processing 2 PDF invoices for about 4 hours now. The data it extracts from photos of receipts is minimal, even though the pictures are clear and the data is clearly marked on the receipt.

So many positives, but clearly neglected by the developers

Things to fix: When configuring an document for Xero, the contacts list is painfully slow and inefficient Text in PDFs cannot be highlighted and copied/pasted. Software is just not good enough at data detection. This really needs some works. It's 50% there.

Unresponsive for many invoices

Does not work well for more than 60 invoices, extremely slow - sometimes unresponsive for several minutes. Line item interface very slow and almost unusable.

Connection issues to Hubdoc

I have been trying to connect a Fujitsu ScanSnap machine to link with Hubdoc. The process is tedious and troublesome that after numerous log in failures, Huddoc locks the client account and leaves you helpless in the lurch. This is the second Fujitsu Scanner that I am connecting for my client. The first time connection also leaves me frustrated and I had to wait hours before someone in Xero Help came to me. So this time round, being 2nd time connection, leaves me frustrated again as the Hubdoc authorization process logs me out asking me to wait for 24 hours before connecting again. This is absurd when you are implementing Scanner process for clients. Can someone in Xero look into this connection process between Xero and Hubdoc to make it SEAMLESS please asap. Not at all impressed when clients are already paying for Hubdoc as part of Xero system.

App is not good

I had problem to sync the app and web version , raised a case with support and they advice me how to do it . Once I managed to make everything work and start using hubdoc I realized that the app is so time consuming/slow to use . I won't use it , I would have save lots of time inputting the invoice/expense myself .Needs to be simplified to help people not to make their life difficult

A bit crap... but you get what you pay for

I used Receiptbank/Dext for years and switched to Hubdoc when Xero disappointingly increased their fees because they were including Hubdoc. I find it very clunky after Dext was such a breeze... thinking of just paying the extra subscription fees and switching back to Dext. Disappointing considering I have to pay for Hubdoc service regardless.
