The new Shopify integration by Xero is here. It syncs sales, payouts, fees and taxes from Shopify into Xero so your books stay up-to-date. Whether you sell online, in-store with POS, or both, this integration is designed to provide a clear view of your business performance.

The Shopify by Xero integration combines the power of your ecommerce platform with Xero’s robust accounting software. Once connected, it works in the background to help keep your financials up-to-date.

  • Customise sync options: Choose ‘Daily summary’ for high-volume stores to keep Xero clean, or ‘Per-sale transactions’ for detailed customer and line-item data

  • Multi-channel support: Automatically syncs sales from your Shopify Online Store and Shopify POS

  • Flexible tax mapping: Map Shopify taxes to Xero tax rates or liability accounts to keep tax treatment accurate in your books.

  • Historical data: Sync up to 90 days of historical data to get your books up to date instantly

Getting started

Getting started

  1. Click the "Get this app" button at the top of this page
  2. Log in with your Xero account
  3. You will then be redirected to connect your Shopify and Xero accounts
  4. Follow the prompts to continue with integration set-up.

Excellent integration and outstanding customer support

We've had a really positive experience with the Shopify and Xero integration through Amaka. We initially had a few questions and issues around transaction syncing and reconciliation, but the support we received from Yasi Gaudia was absolutely exceptional. Yasi was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and thorough throughout the entire process. She took the time to investigate our queries properly, explain how everything worked and follow up to make sure we were happy with the outcome. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. The integration is now working brilliantly and has made reconciling our Shopify transactions considerably easier than we originally anticipated. A great product backed by genuinely excellent customer service. A special thank you to Yasi, who really went above and beyond to help us. Highly recommended!

Integration help

I had some issues integrating shopify to Xero and had made a few errors in the process. My customer support assistant Ria Cases was absolutely a life saver. She talked me through everything that we needed to do and also explained along the way the reason why it was good to do it this way. She also showed me examples to help me understand it better. Going forward I do believe the process is going to be super easy and straight forward. Most importantly she rectified the places I had made mistakes to help run the process better.

Yasi was incredibly helpful throughout the setup process. She explained everything clearly to us, from how to get started to the benefits of using the platform and how to manage daily tasks like reconciliation. Her guidance made the whole process easy to understand and much less overwhelming. She was patient, supportive, and made sure everything was explained step by step. Thanks to her help, getting started and understanding how everything works has been a smooth and positive experience. Excellent support and highly recommended!
