The entities we utilise approvalmax have multiple approvers that are located across the country. With the integration function with xero information is entered once in xero and pushed into Approvalmax so that the approvers can view the source documentation attached in xero, amounts to be approved and coding of the expense. The approvers are then recorded and approvals are timestamped. This is critical from an audit perspective at year end.

As a Charitable Trust, we have approval protocols. Approval Max allows bills to be approved for payment without the need for paper documents, also it also gives evidence of approval to the auditors, again without the need for paper documents, saving the Trust time and $ in the process. Approval Max works seamlessly with our online accounting software.

Good app to have however sometimes it drops approvers off and we have to onboard staff or add GL codes to staff more than once which can get quite frustrating. Otherwise it's great as an approval process.

Easy to use and setup. It solves the issue where Xero's segregation of duties in user roles is too simple. The software improves work flow, prevents human errors and improves internal control. Reminders for approval are automated thus decrease the possibility that a draft was forgotten to be approved. Highly recommended.
