Sold a dream provided a nightmare

Well we had 3 onboarding sessions over a number of weeks, just to end up with a system that was sold as very intuiative, somthing that would allow us to work smarter and not harder, when in reality we were basically provided a system that became an absence management/annual leave tracker. I would never say avoid the system, I am sure it has its benefits ... but it just has not worked for us, there are way to many tickets logged with developers and lots of other organsiations included in them and they do not prioritise things fast enough. They continue to update the system but it ahs then impacted other parts of it.

Avoid at all cost. We were sold on the so called recruitment feature which is clunky and have had very little success except for unqualified applicants. Nothing but problems with the payroll platform and HR platform is nothing to write home about. Pays now take three times as long.

AVOID at all costs!!

We have had this product since 2020 for 3 businesses. Its an endless nightmare. No one will answer your call if you are an existing customer they only have someone to answer calls if you are "new" business looking to contact them. We have just found out they have overbilled us since 2023 at approx $500 / month and their response was "oh well you need to keep an eye on it not us" They are refusing to compensate us in anyway for services we did not receive. Anything is better than this company and actually nothing would have been better.

can't integrate xero because of software flaws

really dissapointing. cannot even integrate xero given the major bugs in Employment Hero. not good enough. no support despite the extra costs of onboarding. We get automated bot responses to FAQs.

Support does not exist.

We changed over to Employment Hero over 12 months ago and still are not set up correctly. No one to talk to and support is 'hit and miss' at best. - Greg from Magpies Waitara

Don't waste your time

Worst decision we have made. It takes an age to set up, the rostering functionalities are clunky, the app for staff to clock in/out doesn't work, and the customer service team takes days to get back to you to fix any problems. Absolute waste of money, save yourself time and money and look elsewhere.
