We switched to Saasybill after getting tired of managing subscriptions manually in Xero. Invoices now get created straight inside Xero, so we're not maintaining two systems that need to agree with each other. It just handles everything, and if something needs a decision from us it tells us clearly what the options are instead of leaving us to figure it out. Xero stays our source of truth, which is exactly what we wanted. Saasybill sits on top and takes care of the billing complexity without adding another system we have to reconcile against. Would recommend it to any SaaS business running subscriptions through Xero.

Saasybill has saved us an enormous amount of time reconciling figures. We previously used chargebee but there was a lot of double up. With Saasybill, Xero can remain our single source of truth and just a simple layer on top to manage invoicing processes with Saasybill. Love it!

What I love most is that invoices are created directly inside Xero rather than having another invoicing system sitting alongside it. Xero remains our source of truth, while Saasybill takes care of all the messy realities of subscription billing - customers upgrading, downgrading, changing their minds and making changes partway through a billing period. I also love how Saasybill highlights anything that needs attention and, rather than just telling you there’s a problem, gives you the available options and then takes care of the solution you choose. It saves me a tonne of time while giving us the right amount of automation without losing control. Most importantly, it makes keeping clean, accurate books easy - which means the reporting we get out of Xero is genuinely useful for managing the business. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.
