Subpar QBO to Xero Import
They will only optimize for the conversion balances to be equal. However, this leaves huge issues with your system because it will not work with class matching. I'm literally spending 15+ hrs to make sure everything has imported properly.

I am just reaching out however I believe our team has been in contact already. The Xero API does not allow us to bring in balances for tracking/classes when conversion balances are entered this information is included on our website here under 'How jobs, classes & categories convert'. It's unfortunate that the guidance offered via the Xero Help center was not sufficient to assist you in adding this information post-conversion.

A great way to kick off with Xero
I have just finished my second conversion with Jet Convert and on both occasions I been highly impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, documentation and speed.
My first conversion included ten years of data from Reckon Accounts Hosted.
The second one, which was just completed during their end of financial year peak, was eight years data from MYOB Account Right Live (they seem to be able to get more from the online files than the desktop versions with MYOB).
In both cases I got a full year by year, account by account trial balance reconciliation, and a great sense of confidence that my new Xero archive was as accurate, and more accessible, than keeping an old copy of the other system around.
A great tool for maintaining continuity of recordkeeping - spend the cash, you won't regret it.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided by the Jet Convert Team during our MYOB to Xero migration. The team especially Sherry and Wendy were incredibly helpful throughout the process, addressing all of our queries and ensuring a seamless transition. Despite a slight delay, the data transfer was flawless and we had our Xero account up and running within a day of receiving the converted file. We also discovered a solution in this process for trimming down our jobs to a Xero hard limit of 2450 and delete them in bulk, saving us significant time and effort. Overall, I am extremely grateful for their outstanding service and highly recommend them for your conversion needs.

average, lots of data missed or wrong
They did our conversion from quickbooks.
1 None of my banking rules were transferred over.
2. All the descriptions for my jobs l quote were only have sent through and all have to be rewritten manually.
3. None of the correct tax set ups in my invoicing and quoting were incorrect and my account had to alter these for me.
4. All my quotes from Quickbooks cannot be converted to invoices in Xero, so l have to go and recreate each one that is confirmed again in Xero.
Jet completed the job without asking me to look to see if anything was not looking right and they need to be reinstated to do further works. Overall l thought the quality of there work was not good and not having anyone you can speak with directly there or at Xero meant no support at all. None of the tutorials seemed to reference when a conversion is done so there was no support l could find apart from my accountant.

To comment on the issues raised.
We do not convert bank rules outlined in our pre-conversion checklists, your item descriptions exceeded Xero's 255-character limit - therefore we can only push in the first 255 characters. Regarding the Tax issue you have not provided an example to investigate as offered, however, this offer is still open. We have no other clients having the same issue you are having converting quotes to Invoices and are more than happy to assist should you reach out for assistance. We (Jet Convert) have phone, email and chat support and your email received last week was responded to timely to address your queries. We unfortunately are not Xero and you will need to address these concerns with them.

Terrible experience - Look elsewhere
After 4 business days, we were told that there was "too much data" to extract and that we needed to limit our scope to 2 years. We allowed it.
5 business days after that they said "we can't do anything with this data" and suggested a zero balance standup. We decided to cut our losses and do that.
Fast forward another 5 days and we were able to log into our Xero. We were never given any explanation other than "too many transactions" or "can't extract data". They effectively only imported a few CSVs from QuickBooks that I could have downloaded and sent into Xero myself, and in less than the 15 (business) days it took for this joke of a process.
The people I spoke with were all cordial, but there was no information exchange during the process and they effectively COULD NOT DO THE THING JET CONVERT IS BUILT ON DOING.
