Absolutely stay away

For a job for which we had issued and received an invoice and which consisted of at least two treatments, our customer demanded a refund, saying to his bank, "They scammed me, I want my money back." A sum of approximately £500 was deducted from our bank account, including a £32 Stripe deduction for the deposited money without our knowledge. Despite our objections and showing all the photos and invoices for the work done, our money was not refunded. They treat customer disputes as if they were courts and make their own decisions. They treated our 9-year-old company like fraudsters and took money from us for it. Absolutely stay away.

Blame Shifting

I use stripe connected to my SAAS product and it works quite well. I've added the integration to Xero, it's just annoying that it takes so long. So I contacted Stripe they said it's actually Xero that holds up the money. In a world where I can instant transfer 7 days a week 24/7 to take 3 Business days feels like a scam. Then who is really to blame for holding up the money Stripe or Xero?

Terrible experience — avoid at all costs!

Our account was shut down without any reason or prior notice. We were fully compliant, yet Stripe chose to act arbitrarily. Do not trust this company with your business. There are dozens of other providers out there—work with someone who actually supports merchants instead of punishing them for nothing. Stripe has become a disgrace in the industry.

Disabled my account and refused to say why

Stripe has been a really sleazy company to deal with in many ways. But the kicker was when they banned my account (which was only used through the Xero integration as an invoice payment links for customers of my software company). This was after using them for years with hundreds of thousands of dollars in transactions and not a single dispute. They said I "violated the Stripe Terms of Service" but wouldn't give anything more specific than that. Support was robotic and unhelpful. It was a disaster because my customers weren't able to pay their invoices. I was only able to resolve it by contacting a friend who happens to be an executive there. If I didn't have such a contact I would have been hosed. I hope Xero will add other payment processor options so we aren't trapped into using Stripe!

My money didn’t appear for two weeks now.

I got paid from a client two weeks ago and until now I still didn’t receive the money. Whats going on stripe?

Be carefull Xero charges you not the client

Horrible service, Noticed over $800 missing from invoices as Xero has processing fees charged to business and not pased to client and no way to pass it on. Honeslty a money rip service
